Fitz to Succeed Professor Chase as University Marshal

Will Have Charge of Commencement Exercises Next June

Coincident with the news that Philip P. Chase '99 has resigned as Marshal of the University comes the announcement that Reginald Fitz '06, associate professor of Medicine at the Medical School, is slated to succeed him. Since Professor Fitz will take office immediately, he will be in charge of the Commencement Exercises which his predecessor has conducted since 1929.

It is understood that Professor Chase will retain his post as lecturer on History.
