Holy Cross was victorious over Harvard by unanimous decision of three judges in a debate held last night at Worcestor on the subject "Resolved. That the private manufacture of munitions be abolished."
The Harvard orators, John A. O'Keefe '37, Bennett Frankel '37, and Thomas H. Quinn '36, upheld the negative side of the question in ten-minute speeches.
The Holy Cross team consisted of Daniel F. Sullivan, Joseph M. Foley, James R. Desmond. Officiating as judges were B. Larz Newton, Frank R. Crotty, and Carl E. Wahlstrom.
