Through $30 contributions from each of the Houses and Phillips Brooks House, a House Athletic Fund has been formed to pay for the usual medals and a $10 allowance toward the expense of trips to Yale. The contributions will continue during the present financial trouble of the H.A.A.
An intramural manager will be appointed from the Sophomore class in about a month to take the place of Arthur W. Todd '35. He will also act as treasurer of the fund although applications for the Yale money have to be made through the office of Adolph W. Samborski '28, director of Intramural Athletics.
The money this year will be used to take care of the past expenses of the House teams as well as the expenses of the winter and spring seasons. The H.A.A., however, is expected to continue to bear the principal coaching and equipment expenditures.
