Symphonic music will fill the Methodist church at New London, New Hampshire next Saturday evening at 8.15 o'clock when the Pierian, Sodality of 1808 gives a joint concert with the Colby Junior College Orchestra.
The entire orchestra will make the trip. Malcohn H. Holmes '28 will be the conductor, while James Ulmer '30 leads the Colby musicians. Included on the program are three Rumanian folk-dances by Bartok, two solos from Carmen, Bizet's opera, Beethoven's Allegretto from Symphony Number Seven, Handel's Fireworks Music, Lecuona's Malaguena, and Schubert's Unfinished Symphony.
The next important concert will be given on March 20, when Ralph L. Kirkpatrick '30, one of America's foremost harpsichord artists, will play two concerti by Bach in F Minor and C Major.
