Harvard Debaters Will Vie With Holy Cross on Friday

O'Keefe, Frankel, and Quinn to Deliver Ten-Minute Speeches

"Resolved, That the private manufacture of munitions be abolished," will be the subject of a debate between Harvard and Holy Cross at Worcester tomorrow evening when John A. O'Keefe '37, Bennett Frankel '37, and Thomas H. Quinn '36 will deliver ten-minute speeches in favor of the negative side of the question.

Harvard's orators received much of their training in debates during their Freshman year. Frankel and Quinn are former presidents of the Freshman Debating Council.

Tomorrow's contest will be held following a dinner in Worcester for the Crimson team. The outcome will be based on decision by judges. Holy Cross has the advantage of having already debated on this subject three or four times.
