Korff to Give Lectures in German Beginning March 12

Kuno Francke Professor Will Discuss Humanism and Goethe

Professor Hermann A. Korff Kune Francke Professor of German Art and Culture will give six public lectures in German at the Germanic Museum on Tuesday at 4.30 o'clock beginning March 12.

From 1923 to 1925 Professor Korff was at the University of Giessen. Since he has been Professor of German Literature at the University of Leipzig. He is a widely known scholar in the field of German Classical and Romantic literature.

The lectures will be given as follows March 12th, Humanitaet der Natur and der

March 19th. Schcene and Faustische Humanitaet.

March 26th. Natur and Kunst.

April 9th. Die Faustidee vor Goethe

April 16th. Die Fausildee des jungen Goethe.

April 23rd. Die Fausildee des reiten Goethe.
