By defeating the Crimson riders fourteen to one in a semi-final match at Squadron A, in Manhattan, Saturday, a hard riding Yale polo team won the right to compete in the finals of the National Intercollegiate Indoor Polo Championship, to be held Saturday.

Eli's opponent in the finals will be decided in a semi-final playoff between Army and Pennsylvania Military College, Thursday, Army, unbeaten all season, trounced a strong, Princeton team, ten and a half to two: while Pennsylvania Military Academy encountered slightly stronger opposition than the Elis in their game with Cornell. Appearing in the National tourney for the first time, Cornell offered a strong opposition but lost twelve to two.

With A. Townsend Winmill '37, and Thomas J. Davis '35 scoring the sole point for the Crimson, the Eli team, riding hard and skillfully, indicted upon the Crimson trio their second defeat of the season, thus blasting their hopes of reaching the National finals.
