Three Charles W. Holtzer fellowships and the James A. Rumrill Scholarship for study at the University have been awarded for 1935-36, it was announced yesterday.
Recipients of the former awards, made each year by Harvard to students of German birth, who have received their preliminary education in German institutions of learning are as follows:
Horst W. Janson, of Hamburg, Germany, for study in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences; Hans Rupp, of Wurttemberg, Germany, for study in the Law School; and Robert E. Mistler, of Konstanz, Germany, now in the Graduate School of Education, for the continuance of study in that school.
John L. Wilson, of Sturgis, Kentucky, and class of 1935 at Vanderbilt, plans to study at the Medical School as the recipient of the Rumrill Scholarship. This award is given to graduates of qualified Southern universities who desire further training at Harvard.
