After placing third in the New England Intercollegiates, held last Saturday, six members of the Varsity wrestling team will enter the Eastern Intercollegiate Championships at Philadelphia today and tomorrow.
Teams from Penn State, the University of Pennsylvania, Lehigh, Princeton, Yale, Cornell, and Navy will probably be entered also. The Crimson team defeated Penn State 18-14, and Yale 24-6 in dual meets earlier in the season, but lost to Princeton 19-11, and Annapolis 21-11.
Those men named to compete today are: Edward J. Petrenik '37, 118-pound class; Howland B. Stoddard '36, 126-pound class; William B. Cavin, Jr. '36, in the 145-pound class; Gorard Piel '37, in the 165-pound class; Richard W. Emory '35, in the 175-pound division; and Albert Aranson '35, in the heavy-weight division.
