Basketball coach Wesley Fesler announced his selections for an all-league first and second quintets yesterday. Coach Fesler said that he would not include any of his tutees in these teams, although competent observers have observed that Dick Fletcher, stellar right guard, has proven himself worthy of a berth in the mythical five.
Fesler's first team includes: Freeman of Pennsylvania at center, Bonniwell of Dartmouth and Freed of Cornell as forwards, Nash of Columbia and Davis of Dartmouth as guards.
The second line-up consists of Casey of Columbia at center, O'Donnell of Pennsylvania and Ganzenmuller of Columbia as forwards, Grebauskas of Princeton and Vollmer of Columbia as guards.
