George Lyman Kittredge '82, who celebrated his seventy-fifth birthday at his home yesterday, will receive congratulations from members of the Faculty at a dinner in his honor tonight at the Club of Odd Volumes in Boston.

Aside from a family dinner last night, where he cut the first slice of his birthday cake, Mr. Kittredge passed the day with no especial break in his routine. As is his custom, he refused to give any interviews to the press. During the afternoon, several of his close friends called at his home, 8 Hilliard Street, to pay their respects.
