SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIP CONTESTED BY JUNIORS

E. Rotan Sargent and Germain Glidden To Meet in Finals of State Squash Championship Today

E. Rotan Sargent '36 and Germain G. Glidden, No. 1 and No. 2 men respectively on the Harvard Squash Team, will meet in the finals of the State Squash Tournament at the Boston Harvard Club today as a result of their semi-final victories over Dick Wakeman and Lindsey Ware, both of the Union Boat Club team.

Sargent best Ware by a score of 3-1 in the semi-finals of the lower bracket, and Glidden won in the upper bracket by defeating Ware 3-2.

The two Harvard men are very close in ability. Sargent, who is new intercollegiate champion, plays a furiously fast offensive same; while Glidden relies on a combination of offence and defence, as alternate for the No. 1 position.

Defeating the Lincoln Inn team by a shut-out score of 5-0, Coach Harry Cowles racquetmen by tieing Union Boat Club moved from third place to first ranking in the Class A division of the Massachusetts Tournament.
