As the principal athletic event of the Dartmouth Carnival, the Crimson hockey outfit will meet the Indian skaters, who are seeking to defend their championship title. Fifteen players will make the trip, headed by Hovenanian, Holmes, Hallowell, Watts, Dow, and Emerson, who will compose the starting team.
Harvard has shown a stronger offense than the Big Green and the three lines which have been again scrambled should be able to wear down any opposition from the really strong first Dartmouth line, because the Indians are unusually weak on reserve strength.
Callaway to Start
As second line, Coach Joe Stubbs will start John Callaway, who has only been on the ice for a few minutes so far this season, Fred Moseley, and Sam Callaway. Ecker and Ford are again together and will play with Louis Carr on right wing. Dowey will accompany the team and will be used as a spare in any of these three lines.
The goalie fight is still strong with Franklin Reece ahead of Waldinger at present as contender for second goal tender. Thornton Brown will be the only substitute for Dow and Watts on the defense, but it is possible for Stubbs to use Ecker and put Dewey in his place on the line.
