Brookings Elected Chairman Of Class Day Committee

Prepared at Exeter Academy, Member of Varsity Football Team

Robert Somers Brookings, 2nd '35, of Alexandria, Virginia, has been elected chairman of the Class Day Committee at a meeting held in Winthrop House.

Brookings, who prepared at Exeter Academy, was a member, during his Freshman year, of the Instrumental Clubs, the track team, and was captain of the Freshman football eleven.

He is a resident of Winthrop House and on his House committee, also winning major letters on the Varsity football team in '33 and '34.

The Class Day Committee is formed from among the officers of the Senior class, and consists of seven men. It is responsible for the Class Day and Commencement exercises.
