Harvard Researchers Develop New Technology to Map Neural Connections
Jennie Lee, noted Scotch author and speaker, and member of the English parliament, will speak tonight on "The Decline of English Liberty" before an audience of Harvard and Radcliffe students. The meeting will be held at eight o'clock in the New Lecture Hall under the auspices of the Liberal Club, the Radcliffe International Club, and Phillips Brooks House.
A graduate of Edinburgh University who has long been active in the Scotch and British labor movement. Miss Lee is at present touring the country under the auspices of the League for Industrial Democracy. She has traveled extensively in Germany, Austria, Spain, America and Soviet Russia. During the last few months she has been in close contact with developments in Nazi Germany and has been active in aiding the victims of the Hitler regime.
Miss Lee is a member of the Independent Labor Party and has the distinction of being the first woman socialist admitted to the English bar. Following her graduation from Edinburgh, she taught school and carried on campaign work during election time. In 1929 she was elected to Parliament at the age of 24.
