Radcliffe legs dangling over the edge of the Harvard pool and graceful female forms catapulted from the diving boards yesterday morning as the Indoor Athletic Building took an a pseudo-summer resort atmosphere while flurries of snow were the dominant features of a dismal mid-winter scene without.
The reason for this Radcliffe invasion of the pool, the first in Harvard's history, was the necessity of a picture in the Summer School catalogue showing the pool in use by members of both sexes.
Bathing suits were provided for the customarily nude Harvard swimmers and chaperones representing both colleges kept a constant vigil. The entire "dip," including towels and bathing suits, was free to all.
