Rev. Harris Returns This Week to Conduct Services

Was Religious Advisor from 1931-33 to Undergraduates

The Reverend Mr. Thomas L. Harris '22, former Advisor on Religion at Harvard from 1931-33, and at present rector of the Church of St. Luke and the Epiphany, Philadelphia, will return to Harvard today to conduct this week's services in the Memorial Church.

A former oarsman on the Varsity crew. Harris became famous during his years as Advisor on Religion at Harvard, for his informal talks with students on religious subjects. He intends this week to resume temporarily these talks and to chat informally with students who attend the morning services.

At present Harris is interested in determining the present status of the city church. He is convinced that young people, although they are not flocking to the organized church, are at least searching for what the modern church has to offer.
