NASSAU ALUMNI NOW RAISING MONEY FOR DEFEATED BAND

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Although everyone recognized the defeat of the Princeton Band by Harvard at the Palmer Stadium last November 16, it was not until recently that Nassaumen openly admitted the loss.

Realizing that clothes and instruments would be handy for the music makers, 31 alumni have gotten together under the leadership of William F. Halstead, of New York City, Princeton '15, in an effort to raise some money to buy these conveniences. In some future year, at least a moral victory is hoped for over Harvard.

Asked to comment last night, a Harvard Band official declared, "It takes more than uniforms to make a band. We'll look forward to next year's meeting."
