EDDIE FARRELL

Those graduates and undergraduates who have competed in track or who have followed the successes of Harvard track teams learn with sorrow that Eddie Farrell is forced by ill-health to take a leave of absence. Always a dynamic and forceful personality, Eddie has been an inspiration to the many men whom he has coached during his seventeen years of service at Harvard.

The selection of Jaakko Mikkola to coach the team for the coming year is generally approved. In his efforts to carry on the tradition established by Eddie he will have the support of all Harvard men.
