Swimming is the most popular winter sport among the Yardlings, 241 having chosen this form of exercise to meet their athletic requirements. Squash is a close second, with 221 racquetmen checking in at the University Courts three times a week.

Seventy-three crewmen are churning the waters of the tank under the direction of Bert Haines.
