Varsity Hoopmen Downed by Rhode Island Quintet 44-28

Despite a determined rally near the close of the first half, the Varsity basketball team was beaten 44-28 by a Rhode Island State five Saturday.

Gray, Lavietes, and Snell were outstanding for the Crimson, with Lavietes accounting for eight points.
