Fifty-First Dramatic Club Production Opens Tonight

Tonight at 8:30 o'clock in Brattle Hall, the Dramatic Club presents as its fifty-first production, the premiere of "Pudding Full of Plums", a comedy-drama by Edward Eager ocC. Other performances will be on Thursday and Friday at the same hour.

The play concerns itself with members of that famed set of New Yorkers whose Dean is Alexander Woolcott and whose Patron Saint is Dorothy Parker. It centers about Ann and David, played by Lois Hall of Radcliffe's Idler Club and John Barnard '39.

This young couple's problem of incompatibility has been cleverly handled by Eager, who has brought to the stage a group of gay, interesting characters. They are as much at a loss to understand Ann's serious-minded husband, as poor David is to fathom them.

The production is staged by John Cecil Haggott '35 who has been associated with Richard Whorf at the Beach Theatre on Cape Cod and was a former president of the Club.
