With 48 Varsity and 20 Freshmen reporting at initial practice the 1935 squash season got under way yesterday afternoon.

First game for the Varsity will be with Mt. Hope at an early date in December, while the Freshmen do not swing into action until they meet Exeter in January. On February 8 the University team meets Princeton and the following week takes on Yale.

In addition to the regulars, Captain Sargent, Germain Glidden, and Dick Gilder, who reported yesterday, letterman Donald E. Jackson, Jr. '37 and Jeffrey R. Short, Jr. '36, of Junior Varsity experience are expected to return to the courts.

As usual, both Varsity and Freshmen will enter teams in divisions of the Metropolitan Club league.

At the close of the regular schedule the team will send representatives to the national championship at Hartford.

More Freshmen will appear this week. Those who have yet to report are being asked to sign at Coach Harry Cowles' shop on Mt. Auburn Street.
