BASKETBALL PRACTICE GETS UNDER WAY MONDAY

Daily practice for the Crimson basketeers begins Monday at 3.30 o'clock sharp, Coach Wesley Fesler announced yesterday. Allowing the candidates who have been out for past three weeks a three day layoff, Fesler stressed the importance of rigid training rules beginning next week.

Fesler Stresses Condition

"With a schedule like ours," Fesler stated, "the perfect physical condition of every man will be a necessity." Junior Varsity Coach Charlie Kollinites, who has had charge of the practices thus far, is fairly well satisfied with the way the boys are shaping up.

His duties at the Stadium completed with today's game, Fesler will be able to devote his full time to the hoopsters, and hopes to swing into intensive scrimmages before the week is over.

New Prospectus Soon

Captain John Dampeer of last season's 1938 team is expected out soon, and Dick Harlow has expressed a desire that football men play basketball in the winter; consequently a large number of prospects are expected out the latter part of the week. It is rumored that there are several court flashed on the football squad who have not gone out for the Varsity before. Veterans from last year's Varsity and Freshman teams are still the leading competitors for the 1935-36 squad, but no cuts have been made, as yet, and no positions are assured.
