Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
It was an easy practice for the Varsity yesterday as Dick Harlow gave the squad a rest after its 35-0 drubbing by Princeton. This afternoon will see a return to action with the first of several scrimmages scheduled to take place.
Harlow is planning to give his tutees a lot of contact work this week in a continued effort to build up an eleven that will take New Hampshire in stride and send the Elis home disconsolate a week later.
His task will be made considerably easier if Don Jackson and Johnny. Adzigian, two of Harvard's best backs, are available as hoped. Probably both of these injured stars will be scrimmaged within the next few days. Whether or not they can be used against New Hampshire will depend on their showing in these scrimmages.
Spring Injured
The only injury reported from Saturday's game is a charley horse suffered by Blimp Spring, who, with Francis Maser, formed the best looking tackle combination the Crimson has yet fielded, will be out for a few days only.
That leaves Bob Downes, one of Spring's rivals for tackle, as the only injured man not accounted for. Downes was hurt in the Brown game and has been on Doc Thorndike's list ever since. By the close of practice yesterday, the Doc had not had a chance to see how Downes has progressed over the weekend. If he is ready for service again, Harlow will have the full squad available--for the first time in weeks.
