HOUSE FOOTBALL WILL START SEASON OCT. 14

Adams, Lowell, Leverett Have Failed to Fill Team Quotas; Postponement May Ensue

After a week and a half of intensive practice, House football teams will swing into action on Monday, October 14, as Dudley House tees off against Adams and Lowell attempts to take on Leverett.

It is highly problematical, however, whether these two duly scheduled games will be able to be played since Adams House has had only two candidates on the field to date and both Lowell and Leverett have failed to fill their quota of eleven players apiece.

Winthrop House, which starts its play on Tuesday, October 15, is expected to repeat its triumph of last year when it copped the University championship and went on to defeat the Yale champions. However, it will be weakened by the loss of Norman E. Letarte '36, who has gone up to the Varsity.

The season, which is starting a week later than last year, will be rather crowded, and for that reason only two games outside the league have been scheduled. These games are Lowell House versus Milton Academy and Dunster House against Groton.
