McCuskey Speaking at First "Open Night" This Evening

"Traffic Problems Among the Stars" will be the subject of a talk to be given tonight at the first "Open Night" at the Observatory.

Sidney W. McCuskey, assistant in Astronomy on the Observatory staff, will give the lecture which is scheduled for 7.30 o'clock. It will be followed by telescopic observations of celestial objects, if the weather permits, and exhibits illustrating the work of the Observatory will be explained.

Other lectures in this series will be held on Wednesday and Friday nights of this week and on Monday of next week. All these open nights are given under the auspices of the Bond Astronomical Club.

The Wednesday lecture will be on "The Planet Mars," by Loring B. Andrews, instructor in Astronomy. The Friday lecture will be on "Photography in Astronomy," by Fred L. Whipple, instructor in Astronomy. Next Monday's lecture will be on "New Stars for Old," by Dr. Geeilia H. P. Gaposchkin. All lectures will begin at 7.30 o'clock.
