Clifford W. Wilson '39 was elected to the captaincy of the Freshman football team yesterday. Wilson, whose home is in Leominster, plays center on this year's team. He is six foot tall, weighs 180, and is 18 years old.

The newly elected captain played on the Leominster High team and was co-captain there. He also attended Andover for a year, where he prepared for Harvard.

Wilson has started in the Freshmen's two games with Exeter and Worcester, the first of which they won, and the second of which they dropped by a single score.
