KIRKLAND WINS; ELIOT TIED BY LEVERETT 0-0

Two House football games were played off yesterday, Kirkland nosing out Dunster by a single point, 7-6, while Leverett and Eliot were deadlocked in a scoreless battle.

It was the too of left guard Miller of Kirkland House which won the game, Miller, dropping into the backfield from his line position, toed the sphere over the crossbar for the decisive point.

Kirkland's goal, which paved the way for Millor's point, came as a result of a ninety-yard run by George T. Cushman '36 through the whole Dunster House team.

Dunster's bid for a win come on an off-tackle shoot by quarterback Perry behind the potent interference of John D. Barnes '37, McColl Pringle '38, and Herbert Monton, Jr. '38, of the Dunster backfield.

The Leverett-Eliot game was a drab affair, neither team being able to get its offense functioning. Eliot had the heavier team but the scrappiness of the Leverett eleven held them in cheek.

Kirkland's one point win today enabled it to stay in the undefeated column in a mathematical tie with Winthrop, which is also undefeated, but has won three games to Kirkland's two.
