Allport Asked to Address First Meeting of Psychology Group

Students in Department Form Society to Contact Faculty

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Professor Gordon Allport '19 has been asked to speak at the first meeting of a new discussion group for concentrators which is being organized by Hirschel Berman '38 so that members of the faculty and students in the department may become better acquainted. The first meeting will be on Monday, October 28.

The association may become connected with the National Psychology Society which is being formed at the present time. The national society, however, is primarily for instructors and professors of psychology, while the organization which is being formed here will be in the hands of students.

It is hoped that when the group becomes established it will be able to give prizes or scholarships to students within the department.
