Winter Track Season Opens Today at Dillon Field House

Preparations Start for K. of C. Meet on Next Saturday

Winter Track season gets under way this afternoon with a meeting in Dillon Field House, at 3 o'clock, when Coach Eddie Farrell, Jaakko Mikkola, Captain John P. Scheu '35, and Manager Warren Sturgis '35, will address the candidates intensive practice will begin the first of next week, in preparation for the Knights of Columbus Meet on Saturday, January 26, in the Boston Garden.

Despite the dearth of new material in the field events, Harvard is expected to win an easy victory at the K. of C. Meet, which included only one field event last year.

Managerial candidates will also begin their competition this afternoon. Only Sophomores are eligible for the competition, the winner of which will become manager of track in his senior year.
