Offering itself as the last stand of the College beer-drinker, the Eliot House night lunch has increased its open hours. From noon to midnight, the portals will stand wide to any member of the University.
The apathy of the student body towards fine old brews has brought a voluntary prohibition to the dining halls of the five Houses. Now the night lunch is the only place in the College where beer may be had.
Whether or not this bold offensive will strengthen the courage of the scattered hop-imbibers remains to be seen.
