A vague possibility that the Harvard boxing team might fly rather than travel by train to Charlottesville, Va., to face the Cavaliers of the University of Virginia on January 12, was apparent at the offices of the H.A.A. yesterday, when coaches and athletic officials consulted time tables and rates for a plane trip to the southern town.
No action has been taken yet, and such items as permission of parents, deans, and the Committee on the Regulation of Athletic Sports still stand in the way of such a proposal.
