ABUNDANCE OF SNOW AWAITS SKIERS IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Latest bulletins yesterday indicated a heavy snow fall throughout. New England, with fair and colder weather in store for weekend skiers. Mount Washington reported four inches at the summit and 23 inches at Pinkham Notch.

Although there has been comparatively little snow in New Hampshire during the past week, snow to the depth of 25 inches lay in the area comprising Waring, near Mount Mousi-Lauke, and Rumcy, near Mount Stinson.

Two feet of snow have been reported at Crawford Notch, which is the destination of this week's snow train. All these depths will probably be altered, however, by the heavy snow fall, which bodes well for the weekend skiing.
