HARLOW TO GO BACK TO WESTMINSTER TONIGHT

Harvard's new head coach, Dick Harlow rushed through a busy day yesterday as he attempted to complete all of the many matters which must be attended to before he leaves for his home on the Western Maryland campus tonight.

Harlow had originally intended to spend four days in Cambridge, but a change in plans has cut his visit short. He will leave tonight and probably not return until soon before the opening of spring practice

Yesterday morning the new Harvard coach, who was tendered a royal welcome on Monday, interviewed several members of the present coaching staff. Although he stated in a press conference on Monday that he would not make his final selection of assistant until two weeks hence, he also declared that he would have several members of his staff ready for action in spring practice.

One of the details which Harlow will attend to before he returns to Westminster, Md. will be the announcement of the opening and closing dates of spring practice. In a conference he said that he intended to start spring practice during a "between-sport" period, which would indicate that the workouts will being immediately after the Easter recess.

When asked the length and importance of his spring practice Harlow said that at Western Maryland he was accustomed to drill his players for about three and a half weeks in the spring, and that spring workouts were especially important when a new regime went into office.

Following his interviews with the members of the present coaching staff, Harlow inspected the personnel sheets of the players and the scouting records of head scott Jimmy Knox. Today Harlow will continue his interviews with the other assistant coaches, will confer with William J.
