HARLOW MEETS ASSOCIATES AND SEES FOOTBALL SQUAD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Terming "football brains and eleverness, plus speed and proper instincts" the essential elements of a winning football team, Dick Harlow, the new Crimson football coach, paid his first official visit to Cambridge yesterday. There were only two subjects he was unwilling to discuss, the personnel of his coaching staff, and any innovations he may make on Soldiers Field next fall.

Harlow spent the day meeting H.A.A. officials and members of the squad which is the chief reason for his visit. During the morning he was closeted with President Conant, and later attended a press conference. After a luncheon at the Faculty Club, he inspected the different athletic buildings. The evening saw him at a meeting of the squad and at the basketball game.
