QUINTUPLETS IMPROVE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

North Bay, Ont., June 7--Dr. A. K. Dafoe, guardian of the Dionne quintuplets, tonight won one of his hardest battles in the struggle to launch the five tiny babies on the way to a sturdy girlhood.

The battle, strangely, was not about the babies but about their 25-year-old mother, olivia.

Mrs. Dionne, who had six children before the quintuplets were been decided this afternoon that it was time to "got up and got to work."

She yielded only when the decoir told her that her babies certainly would live unless she followed his instructions.
