Harvard's Spring Regatta will be held during the week of May 14 and will include the same events with a single addition as it did last year. The races will be over the half mile course between the Weeks and River street bridges.
The only change will be that the Novice Singles will be open only to those who have not rowed in singles before last fall instead of before they entered college as it was last year. There has been a growing feeling that the former arrangement put the Freshmen and Sophomores at a considerable disadvantage. For the experienced scullers there will be a special singles contest.
All events are open only to those men who have not advanced beyond that class in which they enter. For example, the broad comp race is open only to those who have never rowed narrow comps or singles and the wherry race is only open to those who have never rowed other types. Entries may be filed at Weld Boat House during the next week.
