In a race with Exeter yesterday, the third Freshman crew won by one half a length.

In informal practice yesterday afternoon the first and second crews made the surprising times of six minutes, 42 seconds and 6 minutes, 51 seconds, respectively, which Bert Haines claimed were the fastest recorded for any crew on the Charles for many years.
