At a meeting of the Student Council last night the officers for 1934-35 were elected. Richard Glover Ames '34 of Wayland officially handed over his duties as president to Ebenezer Francis Bowditch '35 of Concord. David Lewis Whitney '35 of Brookline was elected secretary, and Francis Daniels Moore '35 of Hubbard Woods, Illionis, treasurer.
Bowditch, who prepared at Milton Academy, was President of his class during his Freshman year. He was also a member of the 1935 football squad, ran on the relay team and the track team, was a member of the Union committee, and he held the Milton Prize Scholarship. This spring he was elected secretary-treasurer of the Phillips Brooks House and was appointed head of the Junior Class Day Ushers.
Lewis prepared at Roxbury Latin School and was secretary-treasurer of his class as a Freshman. In his first year he was a member of the Instrumental Clubs and rowed on the first Crew. As a Sophomore he was one of the founders of the Critic.
Moore, who prepared at the North Shore Country Day School, was a member of the Instrumental, Glee, and Vocal Clubs during his Freshman year. As a Sophomore be won the Winnetka Club Scholarship, and played on the lacrosse team; at present he is president of the Lampoon and of the Hasty Pudding Club Theatricals.
