Because of the congested parking on Quiney Street in front of the Fogg Art Museum and the Harvard Union, the Cambridge Fire Department has sent in a recommendation to the Safety Council and the City Council that the street be made one way from Broadway to Quincy Square and that no parking on either side be allowed within those limits. The engines from the new fire station in front of Memorial Hall have been held up be cause of the parked cars and the traffic, and have narrowly missed smashing up some of the students' autos.
