ETCHING OF PRESIDENT CONANT IN '37 RED BOOK

LARGER EDITION THAN USUAL TO HAVE 275 PAGES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In an effort to keep away from the ordinary, the Art Board of the 1937 Red Book has been very active this year. The feature drawing of the issue will be an etching of President Conant which was done by Cammann Newberry '37 from a picture and from private sittings, it was announced last night by Arnett McKennan '37, chairman of the Art Board.

Many other cuts have been prepared to decorate the pages throughout the volume, and the board, made up of John F. LaFarge '37, Roger D. Gibson '37, William Gray '37, and Robert A. Little '37, besides the other members mentioned above, has done a very creditable job, worthy of professionals.

There will be 275 pages in the volume, which is a larger number than in Red Books during past years, and the depth of the pages has been increased considerably. Also, a regular caption for the top of the pages has been added in an effort to make the issue more uniform.

Another feature of the book will be an article on the Memorial Society.
