Francis Appleton Wendell '37, of New York, N. Y., was named manager of the Freshman track and field team Saturday. This appointment came as the result of a competition which has been going on since the start of the Spring season. Wendell, who prepared at St. Mark's School, has been active in undergraduate, extra-curricular affairs; he is a member of the Red Book Business Board.

Francis Abbot Goodhue, Jr. '37, of Hewlett, L. I., N. Y., won the assistant managership. He prepared at Milton Academy and has been active in the Instrumental and Glee Clubs at Harvard.
