Winning their matches by overwhelming margins, the Freshman Golf team yesterday defeated the Newton High School men 9 to 0 in their first contest of the year. Newton was no match for the first year men as only two matches went past the fourteenth hole.
The match between Charles S. Bellows '37 and Farnum was the high light of the afternoon.
