Funeral of Robert Homans Conducted at King's Chapel

Younger Cousins Serve as Ushers in Absence of Pallbearers

Present at the funeral of Robert Homans '94 yesterday afternoon were the Harvard Corporation, the Board of Overseers, the Porcellian Club, and Committees from the Boston Bar Association and the Class of '94.

The services, held in King's Chapel at 3 o'clock, were conducted by the Reverend Palfrey Perkins, minister of the Chapel, assisted by Willard L. Sperry, Dean of the Theological School.

There were no pallbearers, but serving as ushers were Charles Francis Adams, Jr. '32, Thomas H. Adams '07, Henry S. Morgan '23, Elliott Perkins '23, James H. Perkins '98, and Thomas N. Perkins, Jr. '31, younger cousins of Mr. Homans; and Dr. James C. White, '17, and Charles P. Curtis, Jr. '14.
