An aftermath of the pacifist demonstration in the Yard on Friday came to light yesterday when it was noticed that part of the gun that has been parked downstairs in the Union for so long that it has begun to mould, had disappeared.
The handle or stock of the gun, in the shape of the handle of a crutch has been taken and suspicion has been directed both against the anti-war and the pro-war factions. This gun was originally a part of the armament of the cruiser "Harvard" during the World War. With the loss of its handle, the gun apparently lost its pride, for it has begun to droop dejectedly.
