'37 First Crew Beaten

In an early pre-season race Saturday between the Freshman crews at the conclusion of a grueling week the second boat defeated the first contrary to all expectations. The White crew or second boat stroked by Roger Cutler showed very good form and beat the Red or first rating crew stroked by Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr., by more than a length in spite of a disadvantageous turn.
