Announcement has been made of the appointment of Howard C. Hoople, former Syracuse oarsman, to the position of assistant coach of Freshman crew for the spring rowing season. Hoople, who graduated from Syracuse with the class of 1920, and who rowed there on the varsity crew, will help Freshman Coach Bert Haines. He replaces Al Webster '31, who has assisted Haines for the last two years.
