Richard Charles Boys '35, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was elected captain of the basketball team, succeeding Joseph F. Ferriter '34, at a meeting of this year's lettermen yesterday. Boys is a veteran of two year's standing on the Varsity, and has received two minor letters, having played regularly in the pivot position since his Sophomore year.

As a Freshman, he played regularly on the quintet, winning his numerals, and starting the game against Yale. Boys is 21 years of age, weighs 180 pounds, and is six feet, two inches tall. He prepared for Harvard at State High School in Kalamazoo.
