Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Announcement of the award of 220 mid-year degrees was made yesterday at University Hall. These will be the first degrees which will bare the signature of President Conant.
Twenty bachelors of arts were created, 12 bachelors of science, 51 masters of arts, 38 doctors of philosophy, one bachelor of science in engineering, five masters of science in engineering, four doctors of science, 52 masters of education, one doctor of education, five masters of architecture, one master of city planning, 24 masters in business administration, one doctor of commercial science, three doctors of medicine, and one doctor of medical dentistry.
Thirty-two states, as well as the District of Columbia, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada, China, and Poland, are represented by the winners of these degrees.
The list of those awarded A.B. degrees is as follows:

Montanari, James D. Reiher, Samuel Silverman, Samuel Spencer; as of the Class of 1932, George de F. Bissell, Jr., Spartaco V. Monello, David V. Smith; as of the Class of 1931, Paul A. Fullam, Frederick W. Thon; as of the Class of 1924, Daniel S. Holder; as of the Class of 1918, Hugh M. Hite.
